Terms and Conditions
- All laybys are for a period of 8 weeks, require an initial 10% deposit and fortnightly payments.
- Laybys can only be collected in full once the layby is paid in full.
- Products within them cannot be released separately.
Should your layby become overdue we ask that you please contact the store and request an extension.
Once a lay-by has expired customers will receive a courtesy call from the Manager inviting them to come to the store and collect it. If the customer has not come in within 7 days a second call will be made informing the customer that they have 7 days to collect the lay-by or it may be cancelled. If the customer has not collected the lay-by after 14 days it will be cancelled.
Cancelling a Layby
- Customers who wish to cancel their layby may request their payments to be returned in full.
- Any refunds will be given in the same tender in which they were made
Exchange and Refund Policy
At il Mondo, we stand behind the quality of the products we sell. Our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving the store.
Returns and Exchanges
il Mondo will refund the cost of the return postage only if items have a manufacture fault. You may only return an item purchased if it is pre arranged and pre-authorised and pending inspection, a refund, credit or exchange will be issued to you for the value of the item. Timeframe to lodge a claim is 48 hours after receipt of goods to (07) 4724 2522.
Please note we cannot accept returns on food and perishable items.
Damaged Goods in Transit
Timeframe to claim damaged goods in transit is 48 hours. Damaged goods in transit will receive a replacement of the item or a web/store credit. These returns must be arranged and pre-authorised and pending inspection to (07) 4724 2522.
Please note that we DO NOT offer any guarantee on glass items that we have listed on the website as COLLECT FROM STORE only and you choose to have these shipped at your own risk.
Important Notes to Remember:
Please keep original packaging as refunds, replacements and exchanges will only be valid if you have the original packaging of the item you have either purchased or received.
Delivery fees are non-refundable. To return an item by mail, please phone our office on (07) 47242522 to arrange the return of your parcel:
Claims for Damaged stock and manufactures faults must be received within 48 hours by notifying the store by telephone 0747242522. After this no claims will be recognised.
Incorrectly Addressed Orders
Please make sure that when you place an order your address is correct; if parcels are incorrectly addressed they will automatically be returned to il Mondo. As a result of this error you will be charged additional postage should you re-order the item.
With orders that cannot be supplied we will email you with information regarding when your order will be available and possible substitutes for your order. If this does not satisfy you we will give you a full refund.
All prices are in Australian Dollars. We do not accept any other currency.
